History of Institute
GIET Degree College was established in 2017 with the mission of providing top-notch undergraduate education with the philosophy of “social transformation through dynamic education”. The institution is committed to channelizing student skills and enhancing their potential to prepare them as leaders in the real world. The campus is located in the tranquil and sylvan suburb of Chaitanya Knowledge City, Velugubanda, Rajanagaram in the outskirts of the city Rajamahendravaram on NH-16 and is 300 acres in size.
Since its inception, GIET Degree College has strived to provide an environment that fosters academic excellence and holistic development. The College was started with 04 UG Programmes and 21 students and is now catering to 900+ students with 10 UG Programmes. The College is approved by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram. The institution is recognized under 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in education.
