On behalf of the faculty, I am welcoming you to the elated Department of Humanities and Basic Sciences of GIET Degree College. Department of Humanities and Basic Sciences is established with a view to brush up students in human skills like communication skills and improving English Language. This Department comprises English, Telugu/Sanskrit/Hindi, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics.
Each of our science subjects has a separate laboratory. The chemistry and physics labs are fully equipped to ensure that students are in touch with all the latest developments and techniques in this realm. The environment and setting of the lab nurture the intuitive and inquisitive minds of the students and enhance their zest to make scientific enquiries.. The objective is to inculcate the necessary communication skills so that these students excel in the competitive world. The H&BS department comprises academic and career success through the development of critical thinking, effective communication, scientific technology, creativity, physical health in a safe, accessible and affordable working environment.
